Everywhere the Fred Harvey company went along its “3000 miles of hospitality,” it left behind objects, artwork, documents, photographs, and more. The company and Harvey family also collected a significant amount of art—mostly Native American—which is now known as the Fred Harvey Fine Arts Collection.
Fred Harvey-related objects and archival materials can now be found in museums and archives across the United States, where they provide insight for researchers and the public into the history of Fred Harvey, the Santa Fe Railway, the restaurant and hospitality industries, Southwestern tourism, Native American arts and culture, and more.
In order to facilitate easier research, Fred Harvey Online has gathered information about all known Fred Harvey-related museum collections and exhibits, archival collections, and online collections.
